Ushers, Nurses & Greeters
The Ushers & Nurses Ministry was organized to serve God and the Lord’s Church by ministering to the needs of people while they are worshiping at Greater Mount Olive. In a reverent and respectful manner, the Ushers help members and guests find their places to sit and also maintain the order and dignity of the services by regulating access in and out of the sanctuary.
The Nurses assist in providing immediate support for those who may experience a medical emergency until Emergency Responders arrive.
The Ushers and Nurses are frontline servants that support the Pastor and other ministries of the church.
The ideal Usher has a servant's heart, a gift for hospitality, and a love for the Lord and His church. The ideal Nurse who serves in this ministry possesses the traits of an Usher coupled with the gift of caring and medical experience.
The Greeters have the gift of hospitality to welcome our guests and members to the church.
Greeters serve during worship services, and also at other events as a friendly guide to provide directions and information.
