Opportunity To Serve

Greater Mount Olive Baptist Church is blessed to have a variety of ministries and ways that believers can serve God in building His kingdom and growing the Lord's Church. We have great leaders and people who are dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Below is just one of the many ministries that you can become involved in and serve and the contact information for the leader.

Phil Ingersoll

Director

The Greater Mount Olive Prison Ministry is designed to fulfill one aspect of our biblical mandate for the church to show the love of God to others through our actions. We view Matthew 25:35-40 is the basis of our involvement.

This ministry will visit those in prison to conduct worship services, bible studies, prayer meetings, and resources for mental health. In addition, we will assist with the transition from prison to being productive in society.

To become part of this ministry, individuals must complete the one-day training from the Oklahoma Department of Corrections to receive a badge that will allow entry and exit from the facilities. For more information contact Phil Ingersoll or email prisonministry@gmochurch.org
